Your health is your responsibility. If you are sexually active, you are at risk of having a sexually transmitted infection (STI). Sexual activity includes vaginal sex, oral sex and anal sex — all of which can spread many STIs.

Common STIs are Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Herpes, HPV, HIV, Chlamydia – some of which have no cure. The more sexual partners you have, the more at risk you are of being exposed to infection. For more information, see the Sexual Exposure Chart.

Using contraception (even condoms) does not eliminate your risk of disease or pregnancy. To protect your health and prevent new diseases, unwanted pregnancies and emotional effects, practice safe sex. The only safe sex is no sex. Even if you’re already active, it’s not too late for a do-over. Take control of your sexual health today.

Get tested. If you are sexually active, you can have an STI, never know it, and pass it on to others. Ask your doctor about getting tested annually.

We want you to be the best mom you can be, and sometimes you need a little help with meeting your baby’s needs. We invite you to shop in our Hope Closet to find emergency baby clothes, diapers, wipes, formula, and a lot of hope.

We can also refer you to community resources such as Medicaid and WIC to make sure your transition into parenting is a smooth one.

Want to find out more about childbirth? Parenting? Life? Our in-depth educational program is available to women and men seeking relevant and valuable information throughout pregnancy.

Prep4Pregnancy: prenatal development, childbirth preparation, and the essentials of infant care. Open to those expecting.

Lessons4Life: a spiritual education class encompassing salvation, prayer, Bible study, fellowship, and serving. This class is open to everyone.

When you attend classes, you will receive vouchers to shop in our Hope Chest for free material items like diapers, formula, and baby clothes.

Childcare is available on a limited basis during class times.

Prep4Pregnancy: 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Lessons4Life: 5:15 – 6:15 p.m.

Limited Ultrasounds/Sonograms

We can offer ultrasounds to clients on a case by case basis to determine if the pregnancy is viable, meaning the baby is in the uterus and has a heartbeat.

An ultrasound also gives a more accurate measure of how far along you are. Our ultrasounds are non-diagnostic, meaning information concerning the health and gender of the baby cannot be detected.

You must have an initial visit and pregnancy test at our Center before this service is available.

Pregnancy Testing

Perhaps you have already taken a home pregnancy test. Find out if you really are pregnant. Our laboratory quality urine tests are 99% accurate within ten days of conception. Your test results will be available while you wait. If you are pregnant, we can determine how far along you are, as well as give you the necessary paperwork for medicaid.

If you’re not pregnant, you have options for what to do next.

Surgical Abortion

This type of abortion requires surgical instruments to remove the fetus from your uterus. The type of procedure and cost are determined by how far along you are in your pregnancy.

Suction Aspiration – up to 14 weeks
Dilation and Curettage Procedure (D&C) – up to 14 weeks
Dilation and Evacuation Procedure (D&E) – 15-22 weeks
Partial Birth abortion – after 22 weeks
